(styling products)?
I may not have thin hair...I have the exact opposite...THICK...

But here's the thing...

Any hair stylist or YouTube video is going to tell you to spray your hair lightly with hairspray before curling.

Check out that link...or just google ';Curls stay in thick hair';How to make fine hair keep a curl? (styling products)?
try using curling shampoo, then use a curling mousse(I use Pantene) then curl it before it is completely dry.
curl it using a flatiron

How can I curl my hair easily?

I have long, brown, slightly wavy hair. When I wake up in the morning, my hair is usually kind of wavy and flipping out on the ends. Most of the time it looks bad, so I end up straightening it. I would really like to have it be curly instead; I just straighten it because it's probably faster. Does anyone know how I could get loose curls in my hair without spending tons of time on it? My hair is thick and layered, so it takes a long time to curl it with a regular curling iron.

Thanks. :)How can I curl my hair easily?
hot rollers, you can put them in and do other things while they curl. How can I curl my hair easily?
It always helps to spray some hairspray in before hand and you need a goo curler.

well what you do is you you put your hair into sections get a towel or something and when you curl the hair put the towel up against your skin so you don't burn yourself part the hair and take a piece of hair at a time and that's basically what you doStep by step instructions to curl hair (with pics)?

How in the world girls curl thier hair with a flat iron ?

so i've tried to curl my hair several time with the flat iron , but it isn't working at all ! it's doing nothing but damaging my hair , i barly use that straightner i have now , it's babyliss the red one with the steam system ,,,, my question is . do u girls use anything before curling the bangs or the hair just to keep it in the shape ? cuz i use nothing , only tried the heat protectiction .How in the world girls curl thier hair with a flat iron ?
Approach like you would normally to straighten it. Where ever u want the curl to start turn the flat iron a full 360 degrees and do that all the way down. Voila! Use a light hold aerosol spray after the ehat protectant. Hope this helps! How in the world girls curl thier hair with a flat iron ?
Hello, well from my own personal experience, and from when I did hairdressing. I used to take the piece of hair you are wanting to curl and wind it up in to a curl roll. then get the flat irons and place the curled hair on to the iron plates. Close.... and wait a few seconds.... when you move the iron.... there you are a curly bouncy piece of hair :)

Second way of doing so. is to take the flat iron run it to the bottom of the hair you are wanting to curl and wind it back up on its self..... as your doing this keep pulling down not too hard!! release the flat iron and there you are should be all curly.. You could have a look on youtube. As im sure someone somewhere has uploaded a video of curled hair lol. xx
Gosh, you must part your hair into sections and then section for section, take smaller pieces and take the iron...closest to the roots - dont burn please, then start from the roots, slide it towards the end and with that you turn your hot iron and keep it for like 3 seconds. leave it straight away, DO NOT KEEP THE IRON ON YOUR HAIR WHEN YOU ALREADY DID THE CURL PART OTHERWISE IT WONT WORK...YOU'LL JUST STRAIGHTEN WHAT YOU CURLED AGAIN.

GO TO YOUTUBE AND CHECK IT OUT THERE, THERES A LOT OF DEMOS.

OH AND IF IT DOES NOT TEND TO LAST LONG - TRY SOME HAIR SPRAY AFTERWARDS OR THERES NICE PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET, L'OREAL HAS A PRODUCT THAT SPECIFICLY WORKS FOR THIS STYLE - HOT IRON SOMETHING - AM AT WORK DONT HAVE IT WITH ME - SOWWY!

good vid; you need a quality straightener, too
they flip inwards.

its easier with a smal flat iron
magic
it takes a lot of practice if you dont have the proper curling and straightening one. some peoples hair can stay curled all day, while others stay curled for all of 5 minutes. hair spray right after you have done a curl works a bit. but if your hair is like mine (curls go after 5 minutes) no amount of hairspray will keep it in
It works great on me.

I use the Dove heat protectant.

This is how I do it:

Biracial Hair Curl Care. How do i keep the tight curls? (Cupid Curls)?

I have curly/wavy hair a little past my shoulder. Whenever I wash my hair, or put alot of water in it, it curls up. I want to know, how do I retain the curls??? I cant walk around with my hair wet, so how do I keep it dry, but still have the same tight curls in it. I dont want to curl my hair at all with the curling iron. Is there any products out there that allows me to have the curls in my hair!! Please help, I dont want to straighten my hair everyday. So I decided to wear it curly for a change.Biracial Hair Curl Care. How do i keep the tight curls? (Cupid Curls)?
I am biracial and I use Fantasia ic Gel to define my curls.

I apply it in my hair when it's damp, then use a diffuser (Diffuser is optional, but it helps dries the product faster... and defines curls as well)

You can get it at Walmart in the ';Ethnic'; section where you see all the relaxers and stuff, it's less than 5 bucks and it's works!Biracial Hair Curl Care. How do i keep the tight curls? (Cupid Curls)?
Scrunch it with gel (I usually say mousse, but gel works better for biracial hair, in my opinion), and blow dry it with a finger-style diffuser (E.G. http://www.folica.com/Babyliss_Pro_Di_d1… )

What curling iron is best for me? Please Help?

Hey everyone. I need to know what curling iron is best for me. I have really really THICK hair and it's so hair to curl, I know how to curl hair but my is extremely hard. I need a curling iron I can buy in stores like Target, Wal-mart, ect that's not too expensive.

    Works well ----%26gt; Heat

    Not too expensive

    Lasts a REALLY long time

    Works with thick hair

    thanks for your time

-KatyWhat curling iron is best for me? Please Help?
I would say trying the Conair Infiniti Curling Iron. It heats up well, isn't too expensive at around $25, and has a medium sized barrel which will work well on thick hair. It can be found at Target, and so far has really good reviews. Check out the link below for more info.

    Hope this helps you out!

Curling your hair with out a curling irons or a hair dryer is it possible?

i want my hair curly i love it like it i just dont no how to do it with out the aid of curling irons and a hair dryer i have tried just scrunching my hair but it just dosen't work. i do have curling irons but there not that good i have had them for probabley about 7 years (mary-kate and ashley brand) could anyone give me any tips or tricks?Curling your hair with out a curling irons or a hair dryer is it possible?
Have you tried rollers in your hair? My mom use to get rollers and put in her and our hair when we were young. It curls it. She did it while the hair was still wet and we slept on it.

She also used bobby pins. She would take a piece of hair and twist it and then pin it to the hair. It gave her hair a lot of body and curl. Her hair was shorter as us girls had long hair. What length is yours? I found the Velcro rollers did the best. They also have some of those Hot rollers and some that are shaped like a rod that you twist your hair around, kind of like spiral curls.Curling your hair with out a curling irons or a hair dryer is it possible?
its called a ';perm'; sweetie a perm doesnt ruin your hair...
You can get a crimped look if you braid you hair into small brades when it is wet, let it dry, when you take it out it will looked crimped.
braid you hair into small brades or how ever big u want it when it is wet let it dry and take it out it looks great i do it all the time
    otha options:

    braid your hair

plait it into lots of plaits

Get a perm , it's not so hard on your hair . Useing curling irons kill your hair big time much worse than perms because you have to use them everyday.Or has it ever dawned on you to use curlers ?
Braid all of your hair. Then hairspray it a little. Leave it in for about ten to fifteen minutes and unbraid it. ;]

Or you can put your hair into a bun for a while. :]
You cant achieve natural curls if your hair is straight!!! You need to buy a good quality straightener such as GHD. It is hard to achieve yourself but with practice you will get it! DONT GET A PERM ITS A GEEKS CURL!!!! its a frizzy tight look that very 90's!!!

Is it possible to curl your hair with a ceramic iron?

i dont know how well it will work with your straightner though because it is a bit bigger than the ones the people in the videos use.Is it possible to curl your hair with a ceramic iron?
its possible i take my portion of my hair that im going to straighten and instead of gliding it down. hold that part straight up to the ceiling and when youre going up with the iron twist it a little as if you were using a curling iron, it gives you amazing volume and great curls. hope this helps.
absolutely.. idk about a conair but i can curl my hair with my chi by putting the ends of my hair in between the plates and then just wrapping the hair around the straightner.. the same motion as if u were using a curling iron

How do i curl my hair?

Ok so i have pretty much pin straight hair lol. And apperently it doesn't style well either. I bought a good quality curling iron. Its mediumish sized because my hair is quite long. But every time i curl it it just rolls out in like 3 minutes. Am i doing it right? Do i need hairspray? How long are you supposed to hold the curl with the iron before unrolling it? Any direction i'm supposed to do it? Heat? Help me out here! How do i curl my hair?
Yes. You will need to use products. I would suggest you get special mousse or gel (which ever you prefer) that is specifically for curls. Put that in your DAMP hair then blowdry with a DIFUSSER. If this doesn't give you any curl at all ( which it may not if your hair is extremely pin striaght..but it will still help) then use your curling iron..and I would just suggest to you that you experiment wiht how long to hold it...it is different for everyone really...you just have to fool around until you get what you want. And I would use the highest heat possible. Lastly, when you are curling you shoul dbe holding the curling iron vertically and when you pull it out pull the iron downward. This will keep the curls a nice shape. AND THEN LOAD ON SOME **FLEXIBLE HOLD** hairspray

Good Luck! How do i curl my hair?
uh dah you need hair spray but make sure you hold the curling iron to about 2-4 minutes on your hair but before you do that spray a light mist of water on your hair so it doesnt get damaged
i have the same problem. use a styling mousse or gel first in your hair. the when u curl your hair use hairspray on every strand. the spritz kind works better than aerosol
actually you need to apply hair pomenade or putty, it comes in different brands, its supposed to make your hair thicker and coarser and easier to style.
Use a molding cream from Dove before using the iron, it worked great for me.

    Good Luck!
OK you need a little hair spray but not too much because you don't want that hard nasty look so you roll your hair and hold the curl for about ten seconds after the curling iron is nice and hot. Then after you are all done spray your hair with some hair spray and that should do the trick.
Perhaps rolling you hair with mousse to give it body and going under the dryer first hand might help you out a bit. A light holding spray or spritz could help you out also.
hold the curling iron and put hairspay right on it for about 2 min. or just buy some hot rollers your hair will turn out nice. beth
If you want your curls to stay in follow these directoins.

while your hair is on a curling iron get a good hairspray and get one that says extra hold and wihile its in the curling iron put the can a couple inches away from the curling iron and spray it lightly so it has a even coat do that all over where you want your curls and when you got all your curls done take the same hairspray and put one more light coat and spray it on your hair and your curls will stay.
i know a method that works but its a little crazy seeming...and it doesnt have anything to do with curling irons which can fry your hair if you use them often...ok so here it is...

first find an old pillowcase or some kind of material like that that can be cut or ripped into strips...i dont know how many you would need...but probably about 20 or so...make sure there arent any strings attached that will shed...ok

now instead of washing your hair in the morning...do it at night...comb it all out and then section it into half down the back...then half again across the back from ear to ear...then you can break it up however you want into the smaller sections in each section depending on what type of curl you want...

then what you do is hold a strip up to your head with enough off the top end to be able to tie it...then twist your section of hair and wrap it around the strip...when you get to the bottom push it up a little so that its tight and then tigh the strip using the 2 ends...it should make these little bunches on your head...just do it till all your hair is used up...then go to sleep.

when you wake up it should be dry but if not you can use a blow dryer a little if you have one to try and speed it up...gently take them out and kind of play with them so that they blend in together...you can break them up for it to be fuller or just kind of keep them separated depending on how many you do...it depends on what you like...worst come to worst if it doesnt work wear it up that day...haha...but after you get the hang of it it can look nice...sorry no pictures though...it kind of comes out in ringlets that you can then manipulate to do whatever...good luck!
    get jam or hair lotion

this is a better alternative to gel or hairspray because it doesnt dry out your hair, but it still makes it shiny and holds curls

spread it through your hair after you wash it, but when its dry.

use the curling iron like you usually would and hold the curl in the curling iron for 5 sec. (say mississippi after each second, but not fast)

*make sure not to put too much jam or lotion or else it will burn and get all nasty looking

*make sure you dont put too much hair into the iron when ur trying to curl it because then it wont work

    -hope it helps
It's easiest to curl your hair in sections. Do the bottom section first (pin up about 3/4 of the other hair) and then proceed to the top. Once you've finished curling this bottom section, let down a little more hair. Try also using a heat protectant spray. If you get your hair cut at the salon, ask your stylist. Otherwise Target has some brands that will work---The product will not damage your hair and also allow for a tighter, more held curl. Also, try hotools curling irons or just make sure you're curling iron heats up to at least 350 degrees.Make sure when you are done to spray your hair with hairspray. I like BedHead hardhead----It keeps my curls lasting 8 hours. Hope this helps :)
No, I can guarantee the best way to get curls to last longer is this:

After washing, drying, and thoroughly conditoning and moisturising your hair, grab the piece of hair that you're about to curl, preferably starting from the back of the head, and spray a strong holding spritz on the section, then curl your hair with med-high heat. Leave heat on for about 10 seconds (for instance count slowly ';one-onethousand, two-onethousand, three-onethousand'; all the way to ten-onethousand).

Right after you unwrap your hair from the barrel, hand roll your hair back into the curl and take a long bobby pin and pin it up to your scalp so that it won't fall out the bobby pin or hang down your neck.

Do that with each section of hair you curl (spray individually up and down long strands, bobby pin up, spray again) and then once all your hair is pinned up to your head spray it once more all over and then tie it up with a big fishnet scarf and sit under the dryer for about 5 minutes.

Do make up, get dressed or whatever you do and right before you go out, unpin all your hair and it will look so beautiful and bouncy and curly!

  • Review on BaBylis Curling Iron?

I am looking into buying a BaBylis Curling Iron and would like to have any opinions on it that you have and whether or not I should just buy another one.

I have tried Conair and don't like it, so please no reccomendations for that please.

I am willing to spend up to about 80$ on a curling iron as long as I know it will work.

I have thick hard to curl hair that has a bit of wave, and I find that with the conair I have now, the curls only last a few minutes before they uncurl themselves no matter how much I spray them.

So if you have any products, tips and oc course reviews and suggestions on curling irons and curling hair then please let me know! I am desparate for anything!Review on BaBylis Curling Iron?

She knows her own ';Braun EC 1 Satinstyler'; and the ';Babyliss 0463 CURL Press'; from her mom.

    Both are very good.

Hope that the Braun-brand will be available in Canada.

Does anyone know how to use a curling iron on thick, shoulder-length hair?

1 word curlers i have hair like your and the iron makes light curlers but what you need is to take a shower dont blow dry ur hair just towel dry it (make sure its really dry NOT wet) then by curlers from the store the big one are for big curles small for small by big curlers right when they dry fully and get curled right away go crazy with the hairspray put a bunch on when ur done i might look like this

    http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto/Articles/2102576/009080_Full.jpg

but again this curls are smaller so they were made with smaller curles

    hope this helped :)
the same way you would do with any other hair just take smaller sections you can curl sections the same way and twirl them around your finger and they should blend together and make the section look bigger.
Before you curl your hair, follow these steps:

-Separate layers of the hair, even if you do not have layers.

-Make sure you don't make the layers too thick, or too thin.

-Curl the bottom layer %26amp; Spray hairspray to hold in place.

-Let down the next layer, and so on...

*Remember! Don't spray too much hairspray! It'll make your hair look sticky and oily.

And to not get that ';Just got out of bed look'; Use heat protectant because it will not make it frizzy.

If the curls were too tight and burnt your hair too make it look frizzy, make the

curls more loose; i recommend a bigger curler, and curling bigger strips of hair instead.

and if it is too loose, when you curl take smaller peices of hair to curl.

Well, I hope this really helps you out !! Happy Holidays !! =)

you could use 2 methods using no heat at all.

the first method is take wet hair, put on a small amount of curling mousse and put your hair into two french corn plaits. sleep on then and in the morning you should pull out the bobbles and have wavy curls.

you can also put in buns instead of french plaits.

    hope i helped :)
My hair almost never ever curls. But I have never tried this, but a lot of my friends have said if you put in Curl Holding Spray it makes your curls stay. Hmm... without burning your forehead, just try to keep the straightener as far away from your head as you can. Or, if you want a professional, go to your local hair salon. I hope I helped!

(P.S. Your hair stylist can pretty much teach you how to not burn your forehead and how to make the perfect curls. Also, Ask what kind of hair spray to use to make it stay curly. (but don't ask if your hair does stay curly.) I hope I helped!

Idk... my hair NEVER curls...i would go to a salon! How Can I Make My Hair Wave/Curl Like Miley Cyrus'?
This works best for me: Take a shower. Put Herbal Essences ';Totally Twisted'; curling gel in your hair. French braid your hair in two braids. Sleep with it in, or wait for it to dry. If it's still wet when you wake up, blow dry it while it's in braids. Take out the braids and there you go. Good luck :)
thankfully, for curly hair. i can just scrunch mine.

    but others aren't so lucky,

i suggest getting a curling iron.
You can get a perm put in it. I know when most people think perm they thing froofy poodle hair like Cher. But you can get it done with any size rollers, Including the really large ones needed to make your hair that wavy texture. Trust me. I had the same problem
I have straight hair so to wave it I have a shower and then put my hair in a braid (you can do two braids as well). In the morning I take the braids out. If your hair looks a little bit crimped, then dab a little bit of water in your hair and scrunch it with your hands. This will make the waves look more natural like beach waves. Good Luck!

You can get curling lotions from basically anywhere, you can put them in whilst your hair is dry, but they work most effectively when your hair is wet and when you're out from the shower or something. Split your hair into 3 sections: one on each side and one in the back. Then split those sections into 3 sections (so you have 9 sections in all). Curl each section different ways for a more natural wavy style. Then flip your head upsidedown and tossle your hair. Then flip back up and finger comb strays away from your face. Finish with some hairspray and voila!

it damages your hair, you propably will want prodicts that will protect it when you curl it. you do have to redo it everytime you wash ur hair (ofcourse!!) You can get beautiful results if you do it right. And for the most part, it is worth it, as long as you don't do it everyday, then you could get breakage
Depending on the condition of your hair the curls should last until you wash it. They will come out with every wash and will have to be done again. You can get a basic curling iron pretty cheap at any department store such as Walmart. Yes it is worth it if you do it right. You don't want to leave the hot iron in your hair too long. Once you wrap your hair in it take it out in a few seconds. The curl will take better if you use hairspray.

How can I curl my waist long hair?

Well. I have graduation pictures on thursday. And I want my hair to be curled. I've tried curling it last night with a curling iron but my hair's way too long to fit.

Do you have any ideas on what i should curl it with? rollers maybe?

and i want it to not frizz and stayed curled the whole day. please give me tips about it? (:How can I curl my waist long hair?
Well this is what I would do!! Iam 15 and have very curly hair but my two sisters do not and neither does my cousins and all of them always want to curl there hair like mine. I can never give them the super small rigglets I have without profession help or a purm!! I can never ever use a curling iron because like yours there hair is to long and two thick what you do

    (1) After washing your hair put a curly helper cream

    (2) let it get almost dry

(3)Get BIG curlers even though they look big in long hair they curl that really pretty nice wavy curl that most the movie stars have

    (4) before putting peices of your hair in the curlers spray with a bit of hair spray to make sure that it will dry into place without falling or frizzing in the middle of the day

    (5) let it sit for at least a couple hours(4 hrs) because most people take the curler out as soon as it is dry and that will usally make it fall quicker leave it in as long as you can

    (6) Spray it with a little more hair (Caution dont use to much hair spray)

    (7) if you have a defuser put it on low and cool and put it on your hair for a couple minutes and that will also help a bit

    hope this helps you

GOOD LUCKHow can I curl my waist long hair?
    hairspray and rollers
    chi one inch curler
pomade and orange juice can/toilet paper roll rollers.
try different curlers and a smaller barrel size

get one that goes really hot.

i have waist length blonde hair and this works well

also, do it in small sections

there is a good tutorial on there on how to create sassy curls for long thick hair. This worked really well on me :)

Also, the nicky clarke frizz control tong from argos.co.uk is really good :)
The night before, roll your hair up in rollers. Then, before you pin the roller to your roots, slide the hair off the roller and pin it to your scalp. Blast cool air over your head to make it set and spray on some hairspray. Sleep face down so you don't mess up the curls. Take them out in the morning and add another mist of hairspray.
It's going to take a while but you need to separate the hair into thinner parts and then use some thermal spray. I use rusk thermal spray and it works like a charm!

I'd also recommend straightening it first and deep conditioning the night before.

    Hope I helped! :D

  • How do I curl my hair?

My hair is soo awful to me. It never wants to curl i've tried curling irons only but my hair just falls out even with hairspray. What are some good ways to curl stubborn hair? And what is a good hairspray?

(please give me suggestions you've tried or people you know have tried)How do I curl my hair?
ok well the best hairspray that i've used is herbal essences set me up hairspray. it holds the hairdo and it smells AWESOME!!! as for curling your hair, im guessing (judging by your name) that you want curls like taylor swift. if this is the case, do NOT use the clamp.

    1. put a SMALL of styling pomade into your hair (got.2.b's is what i use) because your hair is thin, a lot will make it greasy. just stick your finger in it, rub the pomade on your hands, and run your hands through your hair.

    2. divide your hair into 1-2 inch sections (you can do this as you curl your hair, or all at once before you start, it doesn't really matter)

    3. lift up one of the hair sections and hold the curling iron underneath the section as close to the scalp as you can get it without burning yourself.

    4. wrap the rest of the section around the iron, and hold it for at least 20 seconds.

    5. slowly pull curling iron out of hair, and spray immediately.

Good Luck! if you have any more questions i can be contacted at

bodypeace22@yahoo.comHow do I curl my hair?
Well, it depends. If you have thick hair, use a wide barrel. If you want small or big curls, put more or less hair in the iron. If you have thin hair, get a small barrel iron and do the same. But if it is very small, don't put in too much hair. Trust me, I went through 5 curling irons to get my hair right. I have thin hair. And my friend has thick. She bought a small iron, and the 4th iron I bought was really big. So when we tried them out, the thin one worked on me and not on her, and the big one had no effect on me and a great effect on her. So basiclly what i'm saying is you can do whatever you want with any curling iron, as long as it fits your hair if you know what I mean. Hope I helped. Also, if that doesn't work, just use alot of suave max hairspray, until it gets really hard. But if the curls fit your hair they shouldn't fall as much.
First of all use the stickiest hair spray.

    1) Apply the hair spray first

    2) Use the curling iron then spray it right away

It works for me. I have very stubburn curling hair!!! :-)

How to Straighten Your Hair With a Curling Iron?

video responses would be nice, and btw don't just say go buy a straightener because i'm broke and my mom aint buyin me shizHow to Straighten Your Hair With a Curling Iron?
just use it exactly like you would use a straitener.. but the ends you will have to flip in or out depending on the way the iron will naturally make them go. just flip it in the opposite direction. also its best to have a bigger barrol, but a small one will still work. using a curling iron takes longer, but it will still work.

How can I keep my hair curled?

I have wavy/ loose curly hair, but when I curl my hair with a curling iron my curls always fall out even with hairspray. Even if I go get them done by a few hours they fall out, but if I straighten my hair it stays straight until I wash it out. When I use gel and hairspray my hair feels too stiff. What can I do or use to have them last without having them feel stiff? How can I keep my hair curled?
try joico thermal design foam. put it on before you curl it and hairspray after, it stays in all day.How can I keep my hair curled?
    leave it....... be natural
you can put a perm in
    Unfortunately you cnt

Unless you buy those curlers which run on gas

Therefore carrying them round with you.

I have to cake my hair in Hairspray so its mega crunchy

Dont use gel unless you want that wet curly hair look
To make your curls go on for hours, try these 10 tips.

If you use hot rollers or a curling iron in the morning, but your style is flat by lunchtime, try these tricks to help your curls stay put all day:

    1. Don't wash every day. Hair with a bit of natural oil distributed through it holds a style better than squeaky-clean locks.

    2. Use a light conditioner. Heavy conditioners can leave a residue on your hair, weighing it down and pulling out curl. If you do need a thicker conditioner to combat damage, take extra care to rinse well.

    3. Blot before you style. Post-shower, remove excess moisture from hair by gently wrapping it with a towel. Too-wet hair is difficult to dry and style.

    4. Apply a volumizer. If your hair has a hard time holding a style, chances are it is fine and limp. Volumizer will give it lift at the root and a foundation for styling.

    5. Treat damaged ends. Apply a small dab of leave-in conditioner or hair cream to just the ends of damaged or chemically-treated hair. It will help smooth fuzzy areas, which in turn makes styling and setting easier.

    6. Blow dry upside down. This gives hair natural movement and bend, a great starting point for adding more curl.

    7. Choose professional-grade tools. They heat up more evenly and reach a higher temperature than many drugstore tools. Find professional tools at a beauty supply store.

    8. Spray before you set. Apply a mist of hairspray or setting lotion to each section of hair before you curl.

    9. Spray underneath, too. Don't forget to apply hairspray to the underside of each section -- the more hold you have within your style, the better it will withstand the day.

    10. Re-mist during the day. If your curls are falling flat, spritz on a curl-reviver (Pantene makes a great one) mid-day. Follow up with another light layer of hairspray.
