How can I curl my hair easily?

I have long, brown, slightly wavy hair. When I wake up in the morning, my hair is usually kind of wavy and flipping out on the ends. Most of the time it looks bad, so I end up straightening it. I would really like to have it be curly instead; I just straighten it because it's probably faster. Does anyone know how I could get loose curls in my hair without spending tons of time on it? My hair is thick and layered, so it takes a long time to curl it with a regular curling iron.

hot rollers, you can put them in and do other things while they curl.How can I curl my hair easily?
It always helps to spray some hairspray in before hand and you need a goo curler.
